A method of owning property that has become popular with people who want to own vacation property but don’t want to bear the entire expense by themselves and don’t need the property for the entire year. Some publicly traded property-management companies specialize in vacation properties and sell timeshares in property that they are constructing. Time-share arrangements also occur in many other situations.
