Feldstein, Martin S. investment & finance definition

An influential economist from Harvard University who was an advisor to George W. Bush in the 2000 presidential campaign. He also worked in the Reagan administration. He was a proponent of the 2001 tax cut and also favors the partial privatization of Social Security by introducing private investment accounts.
