certified financial planner investment & finance definition
A professional designation given by the Certified Financial
Planner Board of Standards to applicants who complete course work on six
subjects: investment planning, financial planning, income tax planning,
insurance planning, retirement planning, and employee benefits and estate
planning; pass a two-day examination; and meet ethics and experience standards.
Continuing education is also required. Those who want to help people plan their
finances and invest their money can obtain this qualification.
